Cheese-Sausage Balls
1/2 lb bulk sausage
1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
Combine all thoroughly, adding no liquid. Form into1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets & bake at 400 F for ~10 mins. Serve warm, perhaps w/ jelly.
(From frozen, you might need to add a min or 2 cooking time. Alternatively,
lower oven temp to 350 & cook for about 20 mins.)
Optional Adds
small onion, chopped fine
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp rosemary
1 tbs snipped fresh parsley
