baking-mix recipe Date: Mon, 14 Aug 1995 22:47:48 -0400 (EDT) From: Diane Morrissey I have tried to find Pioneer nonfat baking mix here on the East Coast but with no luck. I think it is only sold on the West Coast. It is like Bisquick and you can make pancakes, biscuits etc with it. I won't use the low-fat Bisquick because it still has so much fat in it. Today I found a posting for a homemade ff version of Pioneer ff mix. I can't wait to try it. It has been tested and works fine. HOMEMADE FATFREE BAKING MIX 3 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup nonfat dry milk 1/2 cup cornstarch 1 TAB baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. salt Mix together. You will need to tightly cover and store. I would also stir before using.
