For the Dough: Sift the dry ingredients together, then cut the butter into the mixture. Add the heavy cream, but do not overmix. For the Filling: Toss all the filling ingredients together so they are well mixed. Place the berry mixture in a buttered and sugared baking dish. Roll the dough out to cover the dish and place over the fruit. Bake in a preheated 375 F oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream, according to taste. |
