COCONUT BISCUITS
2 C. flour
2 T. sugar
1 T. baking powder
1 t. salt
1/2 C. (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 C. milk
1 C. sweetened flaked coconut, toasted
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in
large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir
in milk and coconut until soft dough forms. Drop dough by scant 1/4
cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until
golden. Serve warm. Makes 15.
