1 pound ground turkey
1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 teaspoons browning and seasoning sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 slices reduced-fat cheese
4 hamburger buns, split
4 pieces lettuce
4 slices tomato
4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and halved
Prepare a barbecue grill for direct-heat cooking. In a large bowl combine the turkey, the mushrooms, the Worcestershiresauce, the browning sauce, the oregano, the garlic powder, the salt, and the pepper. Form the meat mixture into 4 patties. Grill the patties, turning once, until no longer pink in the centers, 5 to 8 minutes per side. Top with the cheese and grill until melted. Serve the burgers on the buns with the lettuce, tomato, and bacon.
