1 pound medium ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup fine breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons chopped raisins
2 tablespoons chopped toasted almonds
1/4 cup liquid egg substitute
1 teaspoon curry powder
4 sesame seed hamburger rolls, split
In a large bowl combine the beef, the onion, the breadcrumbs, the Worcestershire sauce, the raisins, the almonds, the egg substitute, and the curry powder, mixing well. Shape the mixture into four 3/4-inch-thick patties. On a preheated barbecue grill, grill the patties for about 5 minutes per side, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the center reads 160`F. Serve on the rolls.
