AMERICANS IN THE DARK
Feb.15/08
By Luis Zamora

Why is America today, facing the beast of toil and devastation, when it should be the leading beacon light of righteous, and justices, where world leaders would be waiting in line seeking our advise and asking, how can we be part of this great nation to bring peace to all corners of the world, to help to feet the hunger, erase the disease that kill millions and stop the thunders of guns, that are continuing to kill the innocent 24/7 with no end in sight.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Americans could say that we are doing the above.

Instead, we find America doing the opposite taking the road of distraction leading to mayhem, America imposing its mighty power on weaker nations for the sheer hell of the few, so their egos and greed’s remain intact, for the rich to keep sending our youths to their slaughter, thus making sure that their bank accounts keep on growing.

Perhaps the TV media can be blame for all the ugly things that is happening to America, here is where our leaders use the TV tool to manipulate brainwash Americans minds, minds that have dissipated in power to think for them selves instead is ready to acquire what ever is aired into the home of unsuspecting Americans,
As the god’s truth, not to be question.

We don’t hear the truth about Iraq, we hear what the generals say, that we are winning the war against Al-Queda - just who is Al-Queda? How many of them are they?, in what countries ?- why does it take hundred sixty thousand troops to kill few Al-Queda here and there-the surge of 30,000 troops did not work , 16 of our troops were killed in the last few days
and hundreds of Iraqis –so where is this great victories that the generals are talking about.

Looks like the thousand of the troops are doing a good job in the green fort.

The news about how well the Iraq government is doing has been tone down, you don’t hear any thing from Condi Rice, or Bush and Cheney, Cheney is in his cave and comes out only to have his heart checked out.

This administration is blessed that the elections are taking place, thus creating a distraction from all the disasters taking place here and around the world, the recessions ,having to borrow money from China, our troops having to do their 4th and 5th tour in Iraq, the president of Iran having meeting with the minister of Iraq, and the list goes on and on.

Yes it’s time for change and the sooner the better and one more thing McCain won’t change a damn thing.
As I see it thru the eyes of an old man.
Luis
