I know you're all gonna think this has to do with the recent happenings in our group, but it does not. I've been considering this action for a couple of months now.

I'll get right to the point. I'm thinking of closing the group. We all have each other on instant messenger and we all have each other's email. We can still be in contact using those methods, if we choose.

I also realize that no matter what I say, you're all going to have your own opinions on this matter.. This is fine. I've tried to make sure you were all always comfortable sharing your opinions....

I have been quite busy, of late, dealing with issues in my home that I just don't have the time it takes to present new and interesting ideas to the group anymore... We only have a few who post on a semi/regular basis ( I'm not upset about it

), and some days it just doesn't seem worth all the effort.

I would like to address an invitation to each of you - and I really would like y'all to take me up on the invitation - I would like you all to join us over at Angel's group. It's a newer group than ours but we've been working really hard at it and we have tons of stuff going on over there. It is a psp/background learning - playing group but we also have a lot of games to play, and a gardening section, and a cooking section, and a writer's nook, and just all kinds of stuff... Several of the boards are just getting started so we do still need some patience in those areas. I do believe y'all would enjoy it over there. I've also put in a chatroom lol... We could do everything we do here - and more - over there, and have more people with which to converse.

I am suggesting this move to Angel's group for the simple reason that it's all set up and going, and I believe the personalities would match up well... It has been suggested that maybe I invite them to our group - well.. we don't have much to offer. There is no evil attached to this choice. I'm not out to gain members for any other group, I'm not out to hurt anyone's feelings, I'm not out to remove anyone from our group - nothing. There is no malice in my thinking here. I've been promoting our group for a very long time now -- with no bites. People pop in to look and don't care for what they see. Which is also fine. Frustrating, but fine. I'm thinking, at this point, that I bit off more than I could chew. I've spent hours and hours and hours locating things of interest - to have maybe 3 remarks about the post.

The above was the announcement I was going to make. I have since changed my mind... I would really hate to lose contact with you. That being said - I am tired of the crud. I am just tired. I am done. I want my time on my computer to fun and enjoyable, not filled with drama. If you have something you want that is residing within the group pages, please save them to your computer... And yes, Wayne, you have my permission to move the recipe's that I put up over to your group - seein' as how you've already done it. Honestly, I put them up to be shared. Have at it.
