Fin Folk

Land of Origin: Scotland.

Other Origins: Cornwall and Wales.

Other Names: Sea Gardeners, the Lady's Own.

Element: Water.

Appearance and Temperament: The Fink Fok are anthropomorphic faeries who have made it clear that they wish to avoid humans, though they seem not to wish us any harm.
Time Most Active: Unknown.

Lore: No one has ever met the Fin Folk outside of mythology, but there are mythological and faery tale stories about a small number of chosen humans who have been taken beneath the lochs of Scotland to be shown to Fin Folk's splendid underwater world, which is said to be a utopian miniature kingdom encased in glass on loch bottoms.

The Fin Folk's favorite pastime is gardening, and their underwater world is a paradise of vibrantly colored flowers and lush foliage.

Where to Find Them: Under the lochs of Scotland, an easy place to go in the astral.

How to Contact: Approach with caution, since little is known about them. If they are willing they will show you their world, but be careful not to offend them or overstay your welcome.

Magickal and Ritual Help: This is undetermined because they have shunned human contact, but they may be helpful in lending their energies to spells for the protection and preservation of plants and marine life.
