Appearance and Temperament: Duergarrs (Doo-ay-gahrs) are malicious dwarf faeries who, like Trolls, prey on travelers.
They wear lambskin jackets, moleskin shoes and green hats, and they stand just under two feet tall. They are extremely surly and dislike people.
Time Most Active: All year.
Lore: Duergarrs are solitary faeries who guard faery paths and steer humans away from them.
They are the self-appointed guardians of the faery peoples. When there are no faery paths to guard they turn their vicious pranks on travelers.
Two of their favorite passtimes are creating a confusing fork in the road and removing human directional signposts.
Fortunately for us, Duergarrs are an almost vanished race.
Where to Find Them: Near faery paths all over Faeryland.
How to Contact: Unknown.
