Let this light stand in remembrance for all those across the globe who have had lives changed.

For those who have suffered the hurt and religious persecution as a result of those who would not take the time to fully educate themselves and understand.

For those families and civilians in Afghanistan who have suffered harm and grievous loss as the result of bombings and fire-fights.

For the Hindus of Hamilton, ON who lost their temple to an arsonist on a hate-spree.

For the Muslims in Canada, the U.S. and across the world whose Mosques have been desecrated, destroyed - even urinated on - by those who would seek vengeance and hate rather than reconciliation and understanding.

For all of the soldiers and military personnel - not only from the U.S., but Canada, Britain and all other participating countries who have spent this last year away from their own families.

For All of us...

Let the light of our candle shine the way to a better future and a world of religious tolerance and social understanding.

In Memorium

The victims of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon bombings. Emergency Response, Defense Personnel and Compassionate Citizens who died in efforts to assist. Those innocents who have lost their lives in the resulting conflict and all those that have died from religious intolerance or persecution.

To your family and friends we send strength and love.

 

May we walk in Unity.
