Remember....
"Spring FORWARD....  FALL back".....

Turn your clock back  one  hour when you go to bed Saturday night.....

(unless you happen to live in a civilized State like Arizona.....)

I agree. Not only that it is not economical anyway- it doesn't save anything and it in fact can cause heart attacks.

That is the only good thing about Arizona.

I DESPISE Daylight Savings Time.  I DESPISE dark mornings.

When I first started driving truck I got a ticket in AZ ( a minor log-book violation). I scheduled a run back to AZ to appear in court to take care of it. I had forgotten to consider the time change between CA and AZ and I arrived at court one hour late!

The Justice of the Peace was sympathetic and addressed my issue...

The JP explained, because my CDL was from CA, the violation would be a misdemeanor (which could be a fine of hundreds of $$$ and remain on my record for three years), but in AZ only an infraction. She expressed her opinion that the law wasn't right. She reduced the charge and treated me like I was from AZ, fined me $64 and 30 days probabtion, and if I didn't get another ticket in AZ within those 30 days it would fall off my record.

Tell me Arizona isn't civilized.

I'm not certain about civilization.  But I know for certain that 'civility' begins when cross the Mason-Dixon line going south, and when you cross the Mississippi River going west.  However, it also comes to an abrupt end once you cross over the Sierra Nevadas and the Cascades.  So much for cultural geography according to St Luke.

And thanks for the reminder about DST.  Almost forgot it entirely.

It sucks.  I'll be going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark.  If left alone, I'd at least get to see a little bit of sunlight as I go to work.

When I was a bartender there was always an issue when DST changed......   and the patrons tried as they might to get the bar to stay open an hour later.....

It doesn't work that way
