Strange things happen when you start following links to links to links. I was doing this earlier and ended up at:
http://www.rovianconspiracy.com/   Where I saw this:

I love the Obamessiah - I won't have to pay my mortgage!!!
Average Obama voter speaking their mind without a filter.
All I have to say is OMFG

This what they said she said (my underlining):

"It was the most memorable time in my life. It was a touching moment. I never thought this day would happen. I won’t have to work on puttin?gas in my car. I won’t have to work at payin?my mortgage. You know. If I help him [Obama], he’s gonna help me."
Peggy Joseph
Obama Devotee

That is enough to p*ss off anyone. But it was not what she said. Listen what she actually said:

How do they get away with this crap?

dc3,

i can't tell from listening to the video.

i hear "wor"... but i don't hear a "y" or a "k" at the end.

maybe you have a hgiher quality recording than I do.

you know how human minds can fill in information which would make "sense" ... even if that information isn't actually there? maybe that is what happened to your wife.

i listened carefully. i just don't hear the "k".

literally speaking, i hear "i don't have to wor".

at any rate.

if she really believes people aren't going to have to work when obama gets into office, then i would venture to say that she is the only one in america who believes that.

BTW, it ought to raise red alram flags with all of you that this American woman (and many others like her) actually believes she will have no more burdens if Barack Obama becomes president!

even if she said "work", i've never heard anybody say anything to that effect that all our burdons will be lifted if obama wins.

and it doesn't raise a red flag at all.

I know.

I said it should raise a red flag, and I meant among freedom loving Americans, not socialist liberals.

If only that were the case Clicker. Doesn't Obama have a responsibility here?

For some reason I can't open any links today. They just won't "work".

"Work" can have many meanings and does not always mean " I will no longer have to work to earn money to buy gas". I put a lot of "work" into my appearance as well as "work' to improve my vocabulary so I don't have to "work" so hard at putting my posts together. It doesn't always "work" though.

ftjames,

no. obama does not have a responsibility to contradict people who misunderstand his very clear words. if he was being vague. then i could understand expecting a clarification.

again. listen to the last 30 seconds or so of dc3's link in post number 14. I think she says "worry".

listen carefully, and tell me what you think.

I listened to your tape as well cowboy. She said worry, clear as a bell, twice. If your wife heard work, well.... what can I say, she has obviously been around you too long.

And the word " 'bout " after the word worry both times cannot be confused with "on" or "at".
 work on puttin?gas
work at payin?/FONT>

she clearly said worry 'bout puttin' gas
and  worry 'bout paying

You are worse off than I thought cowboy.

What about " 'bout " Cowboy? Does your wife confuse "at" or "on" with 'bout?
