on some occasions and within certain parameters it a pretty good idea, i do understand most of what obamas supporters want, i myself would love to return to goldwater conservatism, we do however always have flies in ointments. can one effectively go back to a world that no longer necessarily exists? jerry |

the internet bubble was fake prosperity, not real. those companies that were being propped up by idot investors were devoid of actual productivity.
if we hope for obama to bring our country to prosperity merely because clinton was in office during the internet bubble, then we'd better start hoping that investors get dumb again, and start believing in a new paradigm shift which causes recessions to vanish.
if you look at the income statements of some of the companies that are bankrupt but who were created during the internet bubble, you will notice that investors were lunatics about where they would throw their money into companies which had no proven income stream.
