Gunmen have opened fire at a number of sites in the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay), killing at least 16 people and injuring others, local reports say.
Police officials said shooting was continuing and that the incidents appeared to be terrorist attacks. An unconfirmed report on the Times of India website said 80 people had been killed, and more than 250 injured.
