Jimmy Carter had a catastrophic economy. Regan had a good economy, but it took him almost two years. It took Pappy Bush about the same time to destroy it. Then it was all economic growth during the Clinton years and all economic failure during the Bush years.

What drives the economy has little to do with the party and everything to do with the policy.
