Pancakes
This recipe template can be used to make handy recipe cards
that can be passed on for many generations.
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Sugar
2 Cups Flour
2 Eggs
2 Cups Buttermilk
2 Tablespoons Oil
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Soda
Directions:
1. Mix Dry ingredients
2. Add Buttermilk and oil
3. Separate eggs
4. Add yokes
5. Whip egg whites and fold into batter
6. lightly oil pan and bring to medium heat
7. Depending on the size of the pancakes you desire, spoon batter into pan ( A little batter goes a long way, This will take some trial and error)
8. Cook on one side until the pancake starts to bubble
9. Once most of the bubbles burst flip pancakes and cook until brown
