1 1/2 c apple cider vinegar
1/2 c hot water
2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tblspn paprika
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tblspn brown sugar
Stir the brown sugar into the water until it dissolves, then mix everything else in. Don't put it on the pig until it is pulled, then mix it in with the meat in a pan over low heat. It works good on chicken too, but only if the chicken is cooked in a pan in the oven, as it needs to be used for basting for the last 15 minutes it is baking or broiling. You can put it on grilled, but have to wait until you take it off the grill, and you only get the flavor on the outside.
