I have 17 hens who are in need of a new home or new homes. I am in California, between Fresno and Bakersfield.

One of them is a beautiful White Cochin named Cotton. There are several Barred Rocks, a couple mixes who were born here. Some Ameraucanas and a couple of Dark Brahmas.

The youngest are 4 years old, the oldest going on 6 years and all are still laying almost every day. They have been very good layers but we just do not have the time to keep the coop up anymore so it's imperative they have new homes soon.

They are free to their new homes with 2 stipulations. 1) that you come and get them because I do not have the ability to ship them and I wouldn't want to do that to them anyway, with their ages and all...2) they are not to go on the dinner table - ever. They will live out their natural lives. Many of these were my first ones I got years ago right before I joined the old Hen House message Board (a few of the oldies here will remember that board...not the new Hen House here at MSN, mind you...) and I look on them as my babies, especially my Cotton girl.

Please email me privately if you'd like to inquire about them at [email protected]

I'm glad to hear that all is well with you and the girls...I hope you do well in school honey and that you get ALL of your newest DREAMS to come true...You are dear to my heart..I will always think of that sweet young lady that I met online here years ago..and who has always remebered to check on me..
Anyway, I'll stop being sappy.... I talked with my daughter who lives in San Diego California...I will talk with her and see what she thinks..She can't have them since they are in the Navy and live on Military housing.....but... maybe she will find someone that can...
Hope you can drop in and just say hi a bit more often and hug those sweet little ones for me..
Love, Mama Gozzard
