Gander Gab was started by Tami around October of 2000.  I joined the group in February of 2001.  I met Tami at another group and immediately felt comfortable with her and Janice (another member/friend).  I followed them to the Gab.

 

Tami had all kinds of poultry but she had a goose that she was particularly fond of and that is why she named the group The Gander Gab.

 

We do have some information on Geese on the Waterfowl board.  We also have some articles on the side board that various members contributed to over the years.

 

If you would like to do articles on waterfowl (geese) I would be happy to display them on the site.  Also, if there is any information you would like to see added to the Gab, please let me know and I will see what I can do.

 

I am always open to any suggestions and definitely welcome them.  This group was very active at one time but there were a few discords among members and Tami and I decided to open another group together.  Tami did not spend much time on this site towards the end mostly because of her failing health and concentration on opening up Our Gang and building up membership.

 

I would love to see this group become more active but we need the help of all the members and there does not seem to be much interest any more. 

 

Anyway, that is how the group got its name.  Feel free to ask any other questions and I will be happy to answer them for you.
