My 4 ducklings are getting so big. I can't remember when my neighbor gave them to me. They started out in a large dog kennel. A few weeks ago they moved to a larger pen. They are about half the size of a full grown Muscovy and still have alot of fuzz. I think they will be full grown in a few weeks and then I can let them out to run free with my geese and sheep. I'm reading about some of you getting ready for winter. I've been in Florida for 10 years now and am looking forward to October when it starts getting cooler. I've quit putting electroytes in the water for the goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and rabbits.

Ducks grow so quickly.  I wish they would stay small for a longer period of time.  They are so adorable and do not seem to mind being held.  Everyday there are changes.  It is like if you blink too much you will miss something...lol.

We had so many really warm days...I felt bad for the ducks and let them loose to find shade from the sun.  They made good use of the pool I have for them to bathe and splash around in.

Take care, Michelle
