I thought it would be nice to see what the weather is around our group. I saw on a few of the other posts the mention of weather so I thought I would make a post just for that.

It is cold here. About 52* for the high and 31* this morning when I took the kids to the bus stop. The weather man said we got down to 29* last night but I was warm in bed at that time. It rained yesturday and is very cloudy today.

How about you all, what is your weather?

Our temps are pretty consistent still.  Mostly in the 80's and nights are in the 60's or 70's.  We did not get alot of rain this summer either.  We very rarely get snow in Virginia either but when we do, it is usually gone in a day or so.

I am originally from New York so I have seen lots of snow in the winter.  I miss having fall and springs temps for a whole season and not just for a few days here and there.

What about the rest of the members?

Leeala I am in Central Oregon. Our summers are fairly warm but only for a week here and there so the rest of the summer it is pretty mild high 80's. Our winters are not always consistent. Last year was pretty dry with the most snow being 18" here at my house but the winter befoe that we froze for weeks and had all kinds of freezing rain. I love the snow but not the freezing rain. I was driving 2 miles from home to the mail box and got in a rain storm. my wipers got stuck to the wind shield as I was driving and I could not see a thing. I had to pull over and scrape the ice off then drive a bit more and scrape the ice off again. It was not fun and i was so close to home. I love our snowy winters. I dont think it would feel like Christmas with out it. We have not gotten snow on Christmas day for a few years but when it happens to land on Christmas day it is a real treat.

The last couple of days were unusually warm here for this time of year, as in the '80's.  We got some rain this morning, but I am hoping for more, as our well is dry.

I'm in Orlando and usually we have beautiful weather in October. Unfortunately this year we are still waiting for it to arrive. The weatherman said we should see cooler and less humid temperatures the end of this week!

We are having unusually high temps for this time of year.  Tomorrow they are saying we may hit a new record temp for the day.  All I know is I miss the regular Fall temps and wish we had some cooler weather.

One more day of this heat wave and then we are supposed to get some decent Fall temps.  Today was really hot with temps in the mid 90's and very humid.
