Hi Everybody,

The baby ducklings - 2 weeks old today - are doing well and growing like weeds. They are so adorable and so much fun! They seem to be happy and content.

The adult ducks and the geese have been enjoying the outdoors. We had a bit of warm weather last week and then a little snow yesterday.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Gloria, hard to believe some places are still getting snow. This has been a tough winter for many. Luckily, our temps have been really nice. Today was in the high 60's and sunny. Did a lot of gardening, pruning, etc.

Lucky you with all those baby ducklings. They grow so fast so enjoy them--nothing sweeter than cuddling with baby ducklings.

WOW ... it's hard to believe it's already May...this year seems to be flying by , soon we will be complaining about it being to hot ..LOL

Well the 2 chickens who were sick died , so we buried them yesterday . I am hoping no one else gets sick , we're losing eggs .

We did get get 9 new baby chicks thou, in 6 months they should start laying ..

The vet will be here today to check Sassy's leg , she is getting hyper being shut up in the round pen for so long , so I hope he says she can go out in a small pasture by herself , poor horse , I hope she learnd a lesson and don't go kicking at anymore wire fences....... LOL...

Hope everyone has a good month of May .. and a Happy Cinco deMayo.....

Hello! I can't believe it's May either!. I just finally put two-month-old chicks in their outside home with a light and their rubbbermaid bin to get in and snuggle. It's just been too cold and wet I thought. Well it will warm up eventually. Have a great month everyone!

We got them from Tractor Supply-6 ducklings, 1 RIR cockerel (I hope) and 5 assorted pullets. Pics will be coming ASAP.

Right now, the poultry are on the enclosed backporch. As soon as those ducks are fully feathered, they'll be going out side in the pen next to the house.
