How did it become June already?

 

Old Yellow Hen the 5 year chicken is up to fowl work again this year. My blind duck hen had a nice nest started in the chicken house but that mean old Yellow Hen took it away from her and sat on the only two eggs the blind duck had laid. One egg was rotten but Yellow Hen hatched the other and what a cute little duckling. So far Yellow Hen has taught the little duck that water is for drinking only. It sure is fun to watch the duck hens call out to the little one but all this little duck understands is Chicken Talk. If the critters don't eat this baby like what happened last year this summer will be lots of fun.
