Note to Jeanine.  Yes you can let your ducklings bathe before they get their feathers. Just keep an eye on them. They develope their oil gland at about 10 or 11 days.  That is what keeps them afloat not their feathers.  Babies need to bathe every day and they will be fine as long as you provide a warm place for them to dry off for about an hour after.
