Warm breeze from South came up during night and blew the fog away. Bright sunshine all day with 70 deg at noon.
Had a casual stroll up and down the foothills.

The view from my bedroom window is also one of Autumn
Over the rooftops of the bungalows and out onto the park the trees are all in splendid orange and reddish colours mingling in with the fading green leaves yet to turn.  I wonder at the variety of greens the trees are wearing.  today the sky is a pale blue and the sun is a watery yellow and it's not as warm as it looks.  A gentle breeze is blowing and making the very tall trees sway.  All morning there have been a gathering of blue tits darting here and there amongst the tree in the garden.  We have been having some groups of people on the edge of the park drinking and being very noisy but the council have cleared it  out and now as they can be easily seen they have not been back for a week or so and now it is quite quiet and peaceful.

Off now to do my ironing.

Bye
Best wishes

Amazing photo's Miriam and how lucky to have such beauty on your door step. All we can see is houses from front and back and sides although of course we see our gardens but its not the same and to be able to see toe capped mountains wow you must feel like Maria in the Sound of Music.
Thanks for posting pictures Miriam and Polly thanks for telling us of what you see .....all those wonderful colours at this time of the year ........

With weather like now autumn is my favorite season - hope it will stay like this for a little while before it gets cold and wet again.
