We had been asking for a 'large' beer all week and getting a pint ~ we asked for a large beer at this restaurant and this is what we got!
I had a job to lift the glass!!!!   I managed though LOL

SAHARA CAMEL EXCURSION
(2 hours on this camel!!!)
 
The sand is very very fine, just like talcom powder, no wonder peeps got lost in sandstorms!

On our way to the Sahara we visited a lovely lady in her cave home.  We were lucky that our guide had been friends with the family for over 20 years so were priviledged to go inside.  Other tourers weren't so lucky they were visiting empty cave homes.
 
   
You can see from the second picture that the rooms are carved separately out of the rock round a central courtyard
 
  
Second picture is her living room, complete with portable TV!

The lady gave us all a glass of mint tea and a piece of her bread - thats her oven on the right (a hole in the ground with natural heat from deep in the desert)
