Hi Polly.......... just how is the job going now you have settled at the new premises?  Is your boss behaving?

I have settled down nicely in my new job but still wish I could afford to retire.  We have just bought a touring caravan and it would be good to be able to make full use of it and have a few long weekends away.

Hugs Summer

Well the new place is two short bus rides away but this now takes an extra 45 mins to get to the office.  The building is very large and spacious a lovely old victorian house.

My boss has been very nice to me but I am thinking something has been said about how she was treating me, some of the others were not happy about it but as I said I just smile and carry on even though I was very hurt and upset.

I have however heard my boss has problems at home so maybe she was not a happy bunny.  I know it is no excuse to bring problems to work but I forgive her if her home situation was troubling her so much.
Cant tell you about them although I do know

When I'm at work I just get my head down and do as I have listed on my schedule -  but do feel it needs a few more hours now and then to keep upto date.  did have a problem this week however I had passed a written message on to another girl and she said she had never had it!! When I went to check my list from the day before showing the mark thst I had dealt with it.......................
it had been shredded by another member of staff
before I got to work.

I couldnt wait to retire from my previous job of 35 yrs but after 18 months of being on my own from 6.45 am until 6.40 pm  I was climbing the walls.  Plus my hubby made my life miserable as he was still working and thought I had it cushy not having to work anymore.  So when this little job came along I jumped at it.
Now he's retired and spends Monday and Tuesday on his own.....
and wants to know when I intend finishing!!!!
My reply..............
NEVER!!!

Best wishes

Hi Polly, I'm pleased that things are better at work for you, shame about the extra travelling time but I suppose you can't have everything!

I think my next step will be to go part time because I'm sure that, although I would love to retire, I too would be crawling up the wall after a few weeks!  LOL
