If ever I dream once and follow the trail
To where the colours of rainbows change
Up steep mountains, down cavernous dale
Cross meandering streams and over sand range
Swim Neptunes' oceans, waved by emotional swell
Losing the sense of my heart and the mind
On this voyage with no earth time to dwell
Ever onward, inspired drifting, moving on blind
The artist marks well all painted scenery
Mountain falls, resplendant in natural hue
Brown woods, topped in foilage of greenery
The bonneted horizon washed over in deep blue
If I dreamed once and ever followed the track
No reason to chart a homeward passage through
Would this fantasy take me there and then back
Glad would I dream if it brought me to you.
