As the maze is entered, no end in sight
What dreams are shared, who creates the romance
Strange twists and turns confront my flight
As the act is copied and sacrifice is the chance
At center is the prize of dominant soul
Is the drink leading on this determined mind
Changing the soft to play a hardened role
All giving and surrendered is change lined
Not sure now, right, left, the way to turn
Drunken act is the fool lurched full on
So impressed by a negative, face is burned
Into the mind, once strong owned, now gone
No clear passage, charge windmills full tilt
First impression is gambled to buy the luck
The run, ever stronger, never bends to wilt
Who and what? Is with fixity now stuck?
Is sorrow now hidden behind face mask
And laugh cover tears in lone-self sad
Come, share the life, take on the task
Make loving good, unravel all the bad.
Lead on through the maze of sweet mystery
Is it all give and taken pleasure of light
Take away foul veil of blind uncertainty
Swim up from deep water, give love the sight.
