I have just joined this group. I live in Wanneroo Western Australia not far North of the city of Perth. Our property is 2 hectares of bush about 10Km inland from the Indian Ocean. The city is gradually creeping up on us and soon we will be moving to a suburban house. We migrated from England over 30 years ago, from Gosport.

Hi J29  I am also from the UK. The North East coast. I live in the big cities but am surrounded also by beautiful countryside and a wonderful coastline so I don't feel as though I miss out, infact have the best of both worlds. I live in a place called Gateshead which is just across the River Tyne from Newcastle.

The quays is a new developement which boasts a new arts centre and a fabulous new Opera house. ( sounds posh for Gateshead but it looks really good) We also have our Angel.
A large rusty object that greets all drivers on their way into Gateshead. The river Tyne is very famous for the bridges scanning it. At the moment there about 8. The most famous one being the Tyne bridge which is a replica of the Sydney Harbour bridge.
I feel as though I have given a guided tour around where I live  lol
Take care
