Thanks, Polyanthus, for starting this thread. MSN won't let me start a new discussion & the only way I can post is by using reply. My mum lived in Tonbridge, Kent, for a long time & I used to visit every year.... loved it there. Pat, Good to hear about where you live & all about your family. One of the ladies in my building is coming to Australia in October for a touring holiday. I was born in UK [North London] & emigrated to Canada in 1959. I married a Canadian man & have 1 son, 2 daughters & 7 grandkids. I am very blessed as all my family live within a 2 hour drive. My dear husband passed away in 2000 & I bought a condo in a senior's building. I am very happy here, we're like a big family. hugs, Rita |

Hi Rita do they know anyone from Australia if they don't let me know, maybe they might like to have some contact with somebody. Maybe one of us might be able to help out, if they are near where we are. We are renting privately where we are now, we lost our house in the early 90's when the interests went up, there was so many in our sitution when that happen. I have made lots of friends where I am living, they are very friendly. Also there is lots of places where we can go, we are in Between the city of Brisbane then the Gold Coast & the other way up is the Sunshine Coast, we are not very far from either of them. Thanks for being friendly, lots of love, Pat. X X X |

Thanks so much for your offer. They are actually going with a 'tour' group. That is really kind of you. Here are a couple of tags that you can snag & use. hugs, Rita |

Hi Rita, Thanks for that, I got them. I am just learning how to copy & paste also I just got a lap top I have so much to learn, first time I ever went near a computer was last year in March I wasn't game to go near it but now I am always on it. Some of us get on the msn together, there was 7 of us at 1 go yesterday , it was really funny, I had trouble inviting people to join us but we all had a great time. It is a good idea that they are on a tour that way they see things that stands out. Lots of love, Pat. X X X |
