Nina's Easy Strawberry Pie


Ingredients

  - 1 baked pie shell, or graham cracker crust<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

  - 2 pints strawberries<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

  - 1/2 cp. sugar<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

  - 3 tbsp. corn starch<o:p></o:p>

Procedure

Crush 1 pint strawberries and place in a saucepan.

 

Add sugar (or Splenda) and corn starch.

 

Stir and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute.

 

While mixture cools, slice remaining pint of berries and place in pie shell. Pour cooked berries on top and refrigerate.

 

Good served with a dollop of whipped cream and better if you make homemade whipped cream (beat heavy creme or whipping creme add vanilla and either sugar or sugar substitute - I use Splenda).
