Wow, When's the last time I was on here???  I was just on the phone with Billie and was talking about how me and her met on here and I told her I should probably give everyone an update on my life.  Some of you don't know me but some of you BETTER remember me!!! 

Ok, So yep I still talk to Billie, She llike my other mommy from far away that i never met.  Love her and Ded to death.  Lets see. Well I can't remember if I told yall when my hubby Nate left for afgahnistan but he did for 9 months and came back for almost but not quite a year and now is gone to Iraq. He is on a 15 month tour and only has 6 months left YAY!!!   Everything here is good. I am still in Louisiana. Just got done with Gustav. Expected the worse prayed for the best. And got the best that we could with it.  Some did get damage as you all probably know. But here we didn't get too much as at first expected. We got heavy rain and winds but our electricity managed to stay on. Thank goodness. I don't like the heat lol I would have slept in the car.  Wow my life must be pretty slow and boring cause I can't think of much to say about it.  Hmm. Oh yeah I've been in College (online through Ashford) for a year now. Working on my Bachelors degree in Social Science with a concentration in Elementary Education.  I have 3 years left on this degree. That keeps me busy.  Umm. I was working at the local px for 2 months. Quit for another job as a substitute teacher. Which I was suppose to start today but with the storm I didn't get to. And Don't know when I will yet.  Also I am still NOT pregnant. Haven't had much time to do that.  We will continue to give it a try once he is back.  We plan on him getting out of the army though. 9 years is too long for us. We can't bare to have to go through another deployement. Call me a whimp but I don't like living alone!!  Still have my Basset hound lucy. Shes still a brat and lazy and no even fatter.  Basically this is my life. I work, school, and talk to friends.  I keep in touch with Billie as much as possible. Usually when we talk on phone its like 2 hours. Tonight was like that. I love every minute of it. She has been a huge support for me while my husband is deployed.  When I need someone to talk to I know she is there for me.

So how are all of you doing????  Whats been going on?? What did I miss??  I am sorry I haven't stayed in touch, but life is taking me in other directions all the time.  I do think of you all and hope everything is ok.  Although now that I am looking at the threads I realize its not really being used that much so maybe I haven't missed out on much. But still maybe yall will get to read this and know that I still think of you all!!!  I miss HHK!!!
