"Tips To Help You Look & Feel Your Best"
------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a little tip that is over-looked by people these days
because of time constraints and busy schedules. If you aren't
sure about what makeup to use or the right products for your
skin, the department store makeup counter can be invaluable
in helping you out. Here are a few guidelines to help you...
You'll want someone to give you their undivided attention
and not se easily distracted. Usually, weekday afternoons
are least crowded. If the weekend is the only chance you
will have, go early in the morning before the stores get
crowded...
Talk to the makeup artist for a few minutes, make sure you
are honest with what look you want, what skin problems you
may have, and listen to hear if they are listening to YOU...
Department stores have many different counters, look at the
people who work behind those counters and the way they apply
their own makeup. Chances are, if they look like a clown,
they will think everyone is dying to join the circus...
After you have found the one you're willing to sit with, let
them do half of your face and do the other half yourself. A
good makeup artist will instruct you along the way...
Keep in mind that these counters are there to sell their own
products, unless you are comfortable with buying what they
are selling, don't feel obligated no matter how high pressure
they may get. Ask for samples of what was used on your face,
and decide where and what you want to buy...If you can't find
the same shade or similar product anywhere else, you can always
go back and won't have to rely on your memory of what was used.
