Safety Tips:

1. Keep 6 peacock feathers in your car to protect you from accidents and to keep people with bad intentions from entering your car.

2. Hang or place a bird in your car. Birds signify good omens and bring safety during travel.

3. Stick a Laughing Buddha on your dashboard. This helps take away all the worries and anxieties of travelling.

4. If you are on business trip, carry a conch shell to give you excellent travel luck and business luck from abroad.

5. Keep or carry a symbol of longevity with you for personal safety and protection against harmful energies.

6. Before you travel, hold a curved knife in front of you and swipe from left to right three times. It will help avert bad luck from the ten directions.

Special tip:

Carry a mystic knot in your car or handbag. If you face any of the following situations, rub your mystic knot and think of your wish.

1. When you can鈥檛 find a parking space.

2. When you are stuck in a traffic jam.

3. When you feel you are in some kind of danger.

4. When you are walking alone.

Travel based on your Kua Number

This formula applies to the following situations:

1. Moving to a new house or office

2. Relocation to a new country

3. A change of place or abode

Travel orientations are determined not on the direction one is traveling in, rather the direction one is traveling from. For example, if you are travel from UK to Malaysia, you are traveling from the Northwest. This route is very auspicious for a West group person. It is however not so auspicious for an East group person. Thus if you are East group, you need to travel from the other direction; so the way around this is to fly from the UK to Australia, stay there for one week, before traveling to your final destination of Malaysia. So, you are traveling from the Southeast direction which is good for East group persons. Remember, this does not apply if you are merely traveling on holiday. It is only important when you are relocating on a permanent basis. Use the table above as a guide.

Feng Shui Method For Overcoming Travel Afflictions

If you travel towards North, scoop up a mound of earth before you start your journey and throw it in the direction of North.

If you travel towards the Northeast, swipe the air three times with a bamboo stick tied with red thread.

If you travel towards the East, ring a bell six or seven times in the direction of East before you leave.Alternatively, hang a wind chime in the East until your return. Remember to take down the wind chime when you return from your journey.

If you travel towards the Southeast, ring a bell six or seven times in the direction of the Southeast before you leave. Alternatively, strike a singing bowl with a wooden mallet seven times just before embarking on your travels.

If you travel towards the South, drink a large glass of water just before leaving home. Do not drink more than one cup. Alternatively, you can wash your hands and feet before you travel.

If you travel towards the Southwest, swipe the air three times with a bamboo stick tied with red thread. This will safeguard against serious injuries.

If you travel towards the West, light a red candle or burn some incense and point it in the direction of your destination.

If you travel towards the Northwest, light a red candle or burn some incense and point it in the direction of your destination.

Tibetan Tips on Overcoming Misfortune During Travel

Travel to North
Take 3 mounds of earth and throw the earth in that direction.

Travel to South
Take a container of water and throw the water in that direction for three times.

Travel to East
Hold a curved knife and swipe the air in that direction three times.

Travel to West
Burn three pieces of incense and hold them in that direction.

Beware Of The Signs Of Imminent Travel Misfortune

1. If you have a dream of tigers or other fierce animals the night before you travel, it signifies you will meet up with trouble on your travels.

2. If you cross paths with someone carrying a load on his back, it means your travels will create many problems for you.

3. If you meet a funeral procession en route, you should change your travel dates. It is sign of pending misfortune.

4. If during the car journey to the airport you have a flat tire or small accident, try to have a quick change of clothing before continuing. This means a serious misfortune has been avoided.
