Juno was married to the Roman god Jupiter (Greek god Zeus) and thus represents the wife and life partner. Juno's energies have moved on from Aphrodite's courting phase, to a fuller commitment to share her physical, emotional and spiritual self through union with a soul mate.

Juno (Greek goddess Hera) protected her status as Queen of Olympus with a passion. She did not ignore her husband's philandering, but took her revenge on the concubines, conquests and even his illegitimate offspring (eg Hercules), thereby preserving what she saw was a happy union (and her image as a diligent and devoted wife).

The month of June was named after this goddess (falling in summer in the northern hemisphere, and therefore a time considered an extra fortuitous time for weddings).

Literally, Juno is epitome of a strong woman who can say, "I deepen my willingness to give and receive unconditional love."

With the energy of this patron goddess of soul-unions at its strongest, now is the time to focus on elements of a relationship you hold most important: loyalty, fidelity, intimacy, inter-dependence, mutual respect, equality and the list goes on.

Make this April 21, or December (southern hemisphere) or June (northern hemisphere) a time to reflect on your relationship (or past relationships).
