Happy New Year! Is everyone taking it easy today? We are! LOL! We slept through the entrance of the new year. Well, at least Michael did. The people upstairs were revelling, so that kept me awake. But, luckily, it didn't last long. Other than that, it was very quiet out here. Right now, it's rather chilly - down to 32. It's supposed to to reach the mid 50's again and sunny. So, it won't be too bad. Monica, Kyle and David came over yesterday afternoon. Of course, PawPaw had lots of goodies for Kyle to take home with him. I think they were going to stay at home last night - too many cops and drunks on the road to be going out. They were safer at home. Too bad everyone didn't think the same way. | I hope you all had a nice restful New Year's day. Ours was nice and quiet. The Sci-Fi channel was running The Twilight Zone all day, so we were watching that. I love that show! Greetings My Precious Family, I'm presuming that this is our new Say Hello Board for 2009 and we'll all congregate for our little chats here.. Okay.. well, its Friday afternoon..and my arthur has gone to work.. I go back to work on Monday coming. We went to my sisters for New Years Day Supper. It was an open house so there were a lot of people. Friends of my sis and her family, it was nice..the food was good, and I was ready to leave 2 hours earlier than we left. But I'm glad that we went. I wish that the relationship between my sister and I was more real.. it is on my part.. it was wonderful to have my husband with me this year. For years and years and YEARS.. I've had to do all of the holidays on my own. So I always sorta felt outa place. But to look across the room..and see the love of my heart looking back at me with such tenderness in his eyes.. he winked at me every time. This was our first Yule, first NY/Eve and Day.. I'm so lucky to have him in my life.. yes.. he can drive me a little buggie at times.. I think men are designed that way.. its not their fault..gol.. Rowan.. sweetie.. thank you for the list of names.. I've written them down.. my daughter is going to find out the sex of the baby I think she said Jan. 11 or 12th.. I'm thinking a girl.. If anyone has any *R* names, I'm looking for as many as I can get. I need to go for now.. Live Life With Heart~celtie |

Good morning! It's way too warm this morning. Here it is nearly 7:30, and it's 68掳! Supposed to reach 80 this afternoon. Yesterday it was just beautiful. Of course, it won't last, but we'll enjoy it while it's here. We went up to Walmart yesterday afternoon. They had some books that they had marked way down! I found one Stephen King book, so had to get that! Then, I got one called "The Sugar Solution". It's put out by Prevention magazine. It's all about using the Glycemic Index for losing weight and getting healthy. It includes great menu plans and lots of yummy recipes. This is exactly what I needed. I've got most of the foods I need, but there are a few other things I want to pick up. So, today, we need to run by Walgreens, and the bread store. But, the rest of the day will be for taking it easy. Okay! I need to get moving. You all have a great start to your weekend! Hugs & Love, Lady Mist |
