Here is the outline for the Upcoming Magazine I am putting together.
The First Issue will be ready June 1st!! Summer 2008. This magazine will run Quarterly and each New Issue will be available the 1st of that month.
We will have 5-6 Featured Articles. With the New Issue, the Featured Article that will also grace our Cover will be about our very own "The Crafting Witches" right here on Myspace. So, there will also be a Crafters Story featuring 2 of the Crafters we have right here on Myspace. Anyone who is interested in allowing me to write an article about them Message Me.
Every Issue will Feature 2 Crafter Stories and their Businesses.
Other Articles:
Litha (history,how it's celebrated,vintage recipes,decorations,and any and all associated herbs,incense,foods, etc. also will include a ritual and meditation as well)
An article about Handfastings will also so be included.
Goddesses/Gods associated with Litha (Midsummer)
Columns That Will Be in Every Issue:
Kitchen Witchery: (I was thinking of calling this section "The Cauldron"...Tell me what you think...which one do you like better?)
This section will be filled with vintage recipes, kitchen tools and will have an article on the Art of Throwing a Perfect Tea Party
The Witches Cottage:
Includes Vintage Crafts,Herb Crafts,Children's Crafts and any handmade hobby of interest. I will be doing an article on Paper Dolls...who remembers those?...:)
The Witches Garden:
Herbs,flowers,plants,trees,Garden Design
The Witches Muse:
This is our Poetry and Short Story Section.
So....I am in need of poets, artists, authors to submit anything relating to Litha,Handfastings,Midsummer, Crafts, etc...I am open minded.
I am in need of 3 Poems and 3 Short Stories (about 3-4 pagesfor the short stories)
I will be posting Submission Guidelines but if anyone has any questions Please Do Not Hesitate to Message me...I am here to help!
I will also be posting for Advertisers who are interested in Advertising their Shop,Home Business,Online Shop, artists, etc.
