There are 7 Rays of Creation. Each Ray represents a particular learning lesson for our incarnation here on Earth. The Seven Rays are the Seven Gates of initiation that spiritual seekers undergo once they consciously begin working with a given Ray. Each of us have the responsibility of integrating the characteristics of all 7 Rays. We may call upon the ArchAngel who is in charge of a particular Ray to assist us. For people who can see colours they may appear different in our physical world from the colours of the spiritual world.  It is important to visualize and wear the colour of the Ray we invoke (e.g. crystal jewellery).

This is the Ray of protection and power.  The power and will of God. COLOUR RED.  The energy of the Ray is invoked for strength, will, and leadership qualities and the inner battle to create balance and Oneness.  The power, protection and initiative of the Ray provides inspiration. Lessons to learn are self confidence, the ability to pioneer new paths and to develop personal power and unite with the highest source. Negative use: misuse of power to dominate and control. The Colour is Red to claim more power. Gemstone: Sapphire to soften too much aggression. This Ray is associated with the constellation of the Great Bear. The ArchAngel is Lord Michael.

2nd Ray

This is the Ray of illumination and wisdom.  The love of God and wisdom. COLOUR BLUE. The second Ray is creative energies, unconditional love and helping people to heal. You invoke this Ray when you need love, illunation, wisdom and perception. Jesus and Buddha are thought to have incarnated on this Ray.  The purpose of this Ray is to release the suffering of humanity by helping people become aware of the one divine source of all that there is.  Negative influence: difficulty in finding balance within and excessive need for relationships. Light blue is used to tune into illumination and wisdom, pink for divine love, yellow topaz for enlightenment.  This Ray is the heart perception - what you feel inside that will lead to wisdom and understanding communication.  Jophiel is the ArchAngel of this Ray and the constellation is Sirius.  3rd Ray

This is the Ray of intelligence. higher mind and wisdom.  Translators have a strong 3rd ray influence.  They translate abstract and philosophical concepts into easily understood terms therefore communication is grounded.  The colour is YELLOW which helps refine the intellectual aspect.   This Ray is used for motivation and for help to stay with a vision until it can be made real.  Negative influence: people can think too much and become isolated - the intellectual absolute.  By using the higher mind and attaining wisdom they can they can delve deeply into subjects and translate the underlying principles.  The ArchAngel is Chamuel and the constellation is the Pleiades.       

4th Ray

This is the Ray of harmony (through conflict), beauty and art.  They often have artistic talents (the even numbered Rays) and bring beauty to the world.  4th Ray people often experience difficulties in the first half of their life.  This is to teach them to find inner truth, strength, harmony, humility and clear direction.  They often become counsellors as they have acquired inner peace, have humility and a purity of purpose.  The colour is EMERALD GREEN.  The colour green creates harmony and balance and white diamond which is symbolic of purity. Negatively they may succumb to mood swings and melodramas.  Positively truth and integrity are their strong focus.  The ArchAngel is Gabriel. 

5th Ray

This is the ray of healing, concrete knowledge and science.  The colour is ORANGE.  People don't have to be scientific but use a systematic process to bring metaphysical truth into reality.  They help people utilize higher forms of energies and find the truth in situations.  Healing, logic, keen intellect and attention to detail.  Negative expression would be that everything has to be real (set in concrete) -see, touch, measure, taste, smell.  If it can be explained then it isn't real. Positive expression is to help merge the higher and lower mind.  Colours are orange and emerald green to attune to the spiritual green colour of this Ray.  The ArchAngel is Raphael.

6th Ray

This is the Ray of peaceful communications and to actively demonstrate love in communications.  It involves devotion, faith, forgiveness and expressing more gratitude in communications.  The colour is  RUBY and it symbolizes the Christ energy flowing through our veins.  Some say it is INDIGO or a GOLD colour.  This Ray is considered to be the Ray of Christianity and the outgoing Ray energy on planet earth. 6th Ray people focus on a goal and must achieve it.  These people have a 'conscience' and sinners often turn to saints.  A negative use of the energy can be that people focus on the ideal and lose sight of the path they are taking.  In a positive use of energy Martin Luther King helped people be strong against the limitations of prejudice in order to achieve high ideals.  The ArchAngel is Uriel. 

 7th Ray

This is the Ray of freedom, transformation and divine alchemy.  The colour is Amethyst - VIOLET.  This is the Ray where people call forth the violet transmuting flame to change the quality of energy at will. It is generally agreed that this is the incoming Ray of the New Age here on earth.  The 7th Ray changes lower frequencies of energy into higher frequencies.  e.g. be loving and kind to someone who is going through a rough day at work and this can help improve the energy field of that person and all they come into contact with during the day.  They must learn to use power properly and wisely and to accept responsibility to share with those whom their destiny is entwined.  In a negative sense they can abuse power for personal gain.  Positively they master their vibrations and help planet earth evolve into its highest frequency vibration.  Most people say the Chohan is Saint Germain.  (Chohan means a superior being in several states of evolution higher than a human.  Each Ray has qualities and specialties which are co-ordinated by the Chohan of that Ray)  The ArchAngel is Zadkiel.
