Hello everyone...I wanted to make sure I came in to say hello and that I am still out here kicking.
This year has been one that I won't be sorry to close the books on...my mother-in-law passed in January, a dear friend in June, and 3 of my kitty babies since May! When I mention them to those that do not know/appreciate the mysteries of the cat, they think I am crazy. But those were three of my babies. We did go and get 2 more...a crazy little orange male named Will and a beautiful Maine Coon/Ragmuffin named Tatianna (yes, after the play). That makes 7 for us, well...8 if you add the 50 pound Beagle/Foxhound that thinks she is a cat! I know that so many of us have had an equally rough time this year as well...may the Goddess smile down on us and help us make the next year better.
I am at a crossroad right now...I have a wonderful job where I can use my education to really make an impact...I work with great people...yet I want to go back to school and get a degree in history just because I have always loved it and I don't ever want to regret not doing it. Am I nuts?
I also have to make a decision about a group that I am the head of. I get a small stipend each month, and the extra money is helpful...but the stress and hassles...back door politics...and backstabbing is really getting to me and making my heart cold to the group...sigh...
My only resolution for the coming year is this: be a better tenant of this planet. Live green. Live the spiritual path that I desire. And realize that "stuff" does not make me who I am...that comes from my heart and soul.
Sorry for this rant, but I needed to just let this out in a safe place...
Now, as for MSN/Yahoo...I guess I am a bit concerned that MSN will "lose" things if they just transfer to the new format. But, I also know that the Yahoo site was having issues...I say stick with MSN until they close, and then see what happens. Is there anyway that we can archive our site and transfer it somewhere else? |
