Weight Loss Tip鈥?/FONT> !*!*!*!*HERE'S YOUR DAILY WEIGHT LOSS TIP*!*!*!*! "Trick or Treat Alternatives!" It doesn't seem possible, but it's almost time for those ghosts and ghouls and things that "go bump in the night." Or maybe it's the time when you "go bump in the night" trying to pilfer some of the Halloween candy you have put out for the Trick or Treaters. If you have trouble dealing with the candy, maybe having some alternate "give-a-ways" might be the answer. Stickers, sugar-free gum and candy, small boxes of crayons, small packs of raisins are better choices than having so much candy around. And if you've just got to have some candy around, choose hard candy. It does not have the fat content chocolate does. I choose candy that I don't particularly like. As for the bags of candy your own may bring back home, you need a game plan. After you have checked their bags for any potential problem items, let them choose a certain number of items to keep. They don't need all that sugar either. Then get rid of the leftovers. Get them out of the house. I would say take them to work, but that still might be too tempting. Give them to someone who does not have a problem eating candy. Don't let any ghosts of the leftovers come back to haunt you. And, don't beat yourself up if you do get a little carried away. Just pick yourself up and start all over again! Here's to slimming down and feeling great! Lillie |
