Welcome to the HeatherMyst, Jackie_AZ! We are very happy that you found us Come on in, relax and look around. If there is something in particular, that we haven't yet posted, but you want to learn more about, just holler and we will do our best to find and post it for you. We know how hard it can be to talk about yourself, so we have set up the Who I Am page. This will allow you to tell us a little about you; and while you are there, please feel free to have a look around and get to know us too! Also, don't forget to check back as we tend to reply to those posts as well as the normal posts. Don鈥檛 forget to add your Birthday to the list so that we can share in your special day! Please be sure to read the RULES that are posted, they are few, but important. *VERY IMPORTANT:* YOU MUST HIDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS! And, with that said, please come on in and make yourself at home. We look forward to you being a part of the family!!! Thank you to everyone for the warm welcomes. It actually really nice to belong to a group of like minded individuals once again. I have let myself get side tracked a little with one aspect of my life and let the one thing that helped me feel a little more balanced fall to the way-side ~ my spiritual exploration and journey. I'm still new to the learnings of the Craft; I find that I tend to be a little eclectic in taste but have found a strong connection to green witchcraft. My main passion is to learn of the many different paths that exist and meet so many interesting people. On a more personal note, I live in Glendale, Arizona; I'm single and have no children, but dote on my niece as much as possible. I have just finished my Master's degree in Higher Education and I am blessed to be working in a field that I am passionate about (college student services) and blessed to work with some amazing and inspiring women. I am extremely excited about joining the group and can't wait to dive in absorb all of your vast knowledge. I just hope that I am able to contribute in a way that you find satisfactory. Until next time...... Jackie |

Ah, Jackie, I know just what you mean! I just came back from a week's time off to explore who I am and where I am going. I had let that part of me fade into the background as well. I think we all do at one time or another. The best thing about that is that we can always take some time to find our feet again! Wow, if you haven't met Moonessence yet, you are in for a treat! She also lives in AZ and is one of the most amazing women! When she called me and asked if I was ready to take a road trip, I actually started figuring out how to make it happen before I realized she was talking about a future date... and I live about 1600 miles north of her! ROFLOL! So get ready! btw: I lived in Phoenix for a couple of years so I am familiar with the area ;-) As for your chosen career path, honey, I wish you so much success! At one point I was going for my degree to become a psychologist who would also teach it. My counselor asked me to go for the double major (psych and education) as she thought I would be good at it and they needed good people to teach.... I was having such a good time! Then life got in the way... I left the college behind and started taking care of various family members. It was using the education but in a more personalized way so it was ok. I tend to go with the flow of life; but, I do wish I could have finished and gone on to become a teacher. I have always loved teaching people things. Anyway, I hope you have a lot of fun hon! Oh, and Jackie, don't worry about posting what is "satisfactory" hon... Just know that we love to hear, learn and help each other, so I am sure that whatever you post will be just fine! The only thing we ask is that all members read the rules before posting to understand what we are about and keep it in mind while posting. One last thing... we are still putting the Myst back together (after being deleted by the resident ghostie lol...) so we don't have as much info up yet as we did. We actually have been around about five years now on msn... just not at this site addy; but, bear with us and we will have the info back up sometime soon... depending on your idea of soon lol! I think you would have loved the old Myst! I used to get lost, for hours, just reading the great info our members shared. But, now we have a new start and that is sometimes a good thing! Ok, I am off to see what other mischief I can get into lol... Have a beautiful day hon! Bright Blessings, Rowan |
