OOOOHHHH, MoonEssence, when we moved to AZ, it was my wildest desire to live in Sedona but we ended up in Phoenix. I did try to find a way to at least live in Flagstaff but it just didn't happen. You are just so fortunate to be there. Hugs Rowan |

Greetings Moonessence: I live in Glendale/Phoenix. Sedona is truly a beautiful town (if you love red rock ). How long have you lived there, if you don't mind me asking? I'm just curious as to how you like/dislike the changes that I've heard happening with the growth in Arizona. I almost too a job with NAU but settled with Glendale CC instead. I just may have to take a trip up to see how Sedona has or hasn't changed. I think it has been about 10 years since I've been there. Many Blessings..... Jackie |

Blessings, Jackie! The first time I lived in Sedona, was around ten years. This time-4 years. I don't like the changes that Sedona has made...Too comercial. Too expensive. Too many people. Way too crouded. I remember (in the 80's) being able to walk down uptown-it was like a ghost town. It was like everone rolled up the side walks at 6pm. Now? 24/7 busy-ness. I honestly wouldn't advise a trip to Sedona to anyone! There is so much traffic, people walking out into the streets, you need a valium just to calm your nerves when you get where you are going! I even attended a wedding in Sedona-It was held at Los Abrigatos. The preacher was dressed up as an american indian cheif. I was imberased for the couple-I mean the surroundings were beautiful, but the wedding itself seemed so scripted-so fake. Now, there's something you'd never forget! LOL I would rather go into Clarkdale, or Cottonwood to get crystals, or just ride my quad to find them in their natural form. When I want excuisite crystals-I will hit Sedona, but everything is SO pricy there! When it comes to crystals, I need to hold them for their vibrational value before I buy them. I don't think I have ever been to Glendale-Its close to Phoinix, right? Wow-I'm awfully long winded! Write me back! Blessed Be~ Moonessence/Becky |

Yes, Phoenix and Glendale border each other. I actually live right on the border of Phoenix and Glendale. I live in Glendale but if I cross the street, I'm in Phoenix! It's a shame to hear about what is happening to Sedona. We use to have a small 4 room house (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room) that we went up to during the summers and the holidays. I use to love being able to roam around, feeling like there was no one else around. I've only been to Clarkdale once; it was right after high school for a concert at some type of hall (at least I think it was Clarkdale...was a long time ago). I need to do more exploring through out the state to find those out of the way places that make the state great. |
