Merry Meet, My Sisters!!!
Lowe's and Wally World were a bust!!! But...I found awsome beads and other fun stuff for my willow wands-the REAL thing! Please write me [email protected] with your willow wand for yule, or you can call me-928-636-0373-8:00am to 7:00pm PST. These wands are made out of solid willow wood, and are for Yule. Currently, I'm making 2 lap quilts, and 3 fleese blankets-I call blankets "Bennies." It's a "BOO" thing..LOLOL
I will also try and send Frankensince again this year-yummy, to die for scent! I have an idea...Why don't we choose 1 or 2 people to gift for? Send things that we already have?? My 2 lucky ladies are Rowan and Lady Mist. Remember, Our junk just might be anothers treasure! Remember, keep your package light, so postage isn't high! Now, who wants a natural willow wand?? Again...I do need addresses. If I don't get your addy, I'll assume you do not wish for one. My sister showed me what she does for a Yule/Christmas card:
She glues ribbon or ric-rack, or even places sea shells on them (light weight I'm sure) to make a frame-She is in Bunko, and they make homemade treasures for one another-Great Idea? YES!
Have a tealight candle? Decorate the metal the tealight is in. Scraps of lace, ribbon, leaves...Make a small wreath out of things in your own yard-keep it loving and simple. I love to take a square of solid see thru fabric to make any type of "scented" pillow-any herb will do-but be sure it is something you already have!
This may be junk to us, but trust me-they can make somebodys day! Remember, its the thought that counts! Well, I for one am already a busy BOO...Don't forget, I am carving Willow Wands for all that want them! Please don't wait 'till the last minute to get a sturdy, decorative wand!
