I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place where I can find out when the peoples of each country that is represented in the United States arrived for the first time.

Spanish, first and so forth....

I hope someone here can give me some ideas!

Re#3, no "Native Americans" crossed Beringaria 9000 years BC.  In fact, no "Native Americans" EVER crossed the Land Bridge.  They were Asians following game and looking for warmer lands than the ones they left.   The Native American hoopla is exactly that, hooplah (thought I was gonna say BS or something didn't you).

What about sea otter hunters ? The Pribilof isands were crawling with them, and they are nearer the USA than Siberia.

I must say, I was told there was a land bridge across the Bering Strait, which is only 58 miles across.

T-Dog and Sean (where are you?) will have it it was St Columba, give or take 4-5,000 years.

The land bridge is most often called Berengaria.

Was Berengaria not Richard 1st's very underemployed Queen? As in stuck in Cyprus for a crusade or 2?

I mean, don't think I am arguing. Berengaria was Richard 1st's wife. After all, Berengaria (ask Mark) bears the reputation of being the only British Queen never to set foot in England.
If she decided to go via Alaska, I can fully understand. I doubt she'd have time to visit England as well.

But little ol' fashioned me believes The Bering strait is named after the Dane, Vitus Bering (!681-1761) The fact that Richard 1 was reputed to be a trifle free swinging would not endow him with 500 years' longevity. So, to quote you, (see uniform thread) "old boy, that is ridiculous"

True, Queen Berengaria never set foot in England during her marriage to Richard I, but she did visit as a widow, she survived him by more than 30 years.

I'm sorry Steven, but there was a ridiculous heading in there about American Independence and Flash-enabled (50K) | Non-Flash enabled

I never enabled anything to do with Independence. You are still a subject people.

Flsihman8 -  Thanks for the link...   I enjoyed this a lot.  I'm an artist of sorts, myself.

Thanks!
