Ancient Rome.
I live in Houston, Texas and the one of the places I wish to see one day is Rome. I wish I could have seen the colloseum in all it's glory. Who was it that destroyed part of it?

Jennie, Alaric and his soldiers may have damaged it when they occupied Rome but probably the most damage done was by the civilian population looking for building materials.

I've read that most of the modern Vatican is built from materials taken from whatever Emperor had his enormous estate atop the Capitoline Hill. Was it Hadrian's estate? He had quite a reputation as an ostentatious builder.

Probably stole the materials from his wall.Blue granite, 66 miles, Solway Firth to the Tyne.

Let's face it; thereason why this thread is so short is because you gummy - eyed little perverts (Ladies excluded, it goes without saying) wanted to see more of this.

For a good pornographic read, try "Those who are about to die" by Dan Mannix. Only don't let your Latin master catch you.

Nope, when my eyes & eye lids get a little itchy, I just stick out my tongue and lick'em clean.

Hi,
All you are a little wrong. In 442, 508, 801 and 847 after C. the Colosseum suffered a group of earthquakes that caused a lot of damages and that was the pretext for use it like a quarry in Middle Age.
