I have a question I watched Journey to 10,000 BC not to long ago and while they were discussing the hunting of the Mammoths I wondered what does it taste like? I know there are a few folksolder than I and I wonder if any of yall remember what Mammoth tastes like? I was too young I think they went extinct just before I was born I just remember the stories of hunting them. T-Man |

PBA, you're opting for time off for good behaviour here, and it just might work. I think mammouth tastes like buffalo. |

It has a somewhat sweet taste on the order of, but not as sharp as, elk venison. |

To the discerning History Site aficianado, it would be similar to a Rhinocerous foreskin. Not a Jewish one of course. |

Everything should taste like garlic, herbs, or honey and peanut butter, or strong wine and garlic. Tandoori masala, yoghurt, oil, lemonjuice, extra garlic. |

Thank you, PBA and Mark. Suddenly that leftover pork roast doesn't seem so inviting. |

The Aussies and NewZealanders are very fond of sheeps' nuts. So is T-Dog. With a living sheep. |
