In a new book, Destiny and Civilization, prehistory is seen in terms of different religion-based societies instead of diverse "cultural" groups. This enables them to be viewed as distinct entities with their religions being technology based. For example, the religion the cave-art creators had was based on and filled with their hunting technology. The religion based around the thousands of mother-goddess figurines found by archeologists was based on agriculture. The religion based on herding was called Kurganism by archeologist Gimbutas. What this means is that it then becomes possible to see how a process of natural selection can and has operated between these now isolated and distinct entities. That is social evolution and it has nothing to do with race evolution but an evolution of ideologies and the societies they bond.
