It has been announced today that Prince Harry, Prince Charles' younger son, has been serving in Afghanistan since before Christmas. Last year it was initially said that he would not go because of the danger to himself and his compatriots, but he insisted he ought to go and so he did.

I was listening to yet another discussion on the 'Harry in Afghanistan' topic and it really has got the backs up of the loony left. None can believe it's not just some kind of stunt. I notice that the Queen has had one son and one grandson go to war on their country's behalf. How many labour MP's have had sons' serve?

Tony Blair's son has ended up in cells and his dad in law successfully prosecuted or sued can't remember which. Blair has confessed to being a screaming cannabis addict

MAGGIE IS UP AND ABOUT AND ONLY STAYED IN HOSPITAL OVER NIGHT AFTER FEELING A LITTLE DIZZY.
SHE WAS WELL ENOUGH TO WAVE TO THE CROWDS AS SHE EXITED THE HOSPITAL. SHE THINKS THAT IT MIGHT HAVE ONLY BEEN A BAD BOTTLE OF AUSTRAILIAN SHERRY THAT CAUSED IT.

So TinCan

Thank you for your condescending little nod as you mince past your undeserving serfs, off no doubt to exchange a few witty double-entendres concerning the Propkoffer Theory of Elemental Disproportion with the Princeton Man, or else commiserate with T-Dog about his piles. Or snatch a hurried toke from the Canadian element, Virginia keeping her own.

So, where have you been? Have you sold the site to P.D.Quest?

Enlighten us, O Guru

Pete, all bottles of sherry are bad, if you drink the lot.

My favorite PM Maggie.   Loved her quote to George the lst during the first Iraq war.   "Now is not the time to wobbly George."    Nobody ever called her a poodle eh?

They certainly did Tom, but it's par for the course being the PM of Britain. Remember too, Maggie wasn't PM at the time, she was on a lecture tour when Hussein invaded Kuwait and George sought her advice. Maggie would not tolerate tinpot's exceeding their office.

She was PM when Iraq invaded Kuwait in August 1990, but she'd been ousted in favour of John Major (November 1990) by the time the ground war began in February 1991.
